Apostle Paul did not perform extraordinary deeds due to his own special abilities or training. He was just an ordinary man—a tentmaker who trusted completely in an extraordinary God. This has been the case throughout the ages. Elijah, a man with a nature like ours, prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain (James 5:17).
When we stop limiting ourselves to our own abilities and put our faith in God’s capabilities, we open ourselves to endless possibilities. However, we must first put away the worthless things and attitudes that seek to satisfy our flesh and walk by faith in the light of God’s grace. Only then will we be able to glorify God and bless others with the abundance of grace and love we receive from Him.
