“…He will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and melodious song” – Isaiah 51:3

God placed humanity in charge of His perfect creation. However, rather than using their free will to love and trust God, humans chose to seek their own destiny apart from Him. The garden was replaced by thorns and thistles. We have all lost our original purpose in our pursuit of self-exaltation and pleasure. Regardless of what you do or achieve, your heart will feel like a desert without a rich relationship with God. 

Jesus came not to condemn, but to restore our relationship with the Heavenly Father. He took upon Himself the curse of all our sins and failures on that cruel cross. As your heart surrenders completely to His love, the thorns and thistles are swept away by the power of His love. He will transform the barren wastelands of your heart into the garden of the Lord. You will experience unexplainable joy.
