It is crucial to keep your mind consistently at peace so that you can think clearly and act rightly. A mind in turmoil may say and do things it later regrets. When we put our trust in humans and their deeds, we inevitably falter when faced with situations that test our heart’s resolve and our mind’s attitude.

When we take matters into our own hands and lose sight of God, our minds are thrown into panic and turmoil. However, if we trust God and stay focused on Him and His promises, rather than the numerous inputs that flood our senses and cloud our minds, He will grant us surpassing peace that guards our hearts and calms our minds. To trust God completely is to have the deep assurance that He is powerful enough to control every situation and work out all things for my good.
