“Whoever watches the wind will not plant: whoever looks at the cloud will not reap.” – Ecclesiastes 11:4

A farmer who fears the wind and never plants will never have the opportunity to reap. People often fail to attempt things because they are afraid of the worst-case scenario. Even the lazy cite potential setbacks as a reason not to move forward. Whatever the reason or attitude, without intentionality, there will be zero productivity. 

Imagine the joy a child would miss if the fear of falling prevented him from learning to ride a bicycle. If you never attempt something for fear of failure, you will never experience a breakthrough or success. Let His Spirit and Word shape your plans and desires. Then, to fulfill them, you may need to step out in faith, especially when the future looks uncertain. Let your confidence be in the Lord as you seek His guidance with every determined step you take.
