During His time on earth, many struggled to grasp that Jesus was the prophesied Prince of Peace, sent to save humanity from sin. Yet, while people wrestled with this truth, the demons recognized Him without question. However, Jesus had no interest in their testimony—even though they openly declared Him as the Son of God. He did not seek the witness of the wicked.
Jesus is not impressed by declarations from those who have no desire to repent and submit to His Lordship. He is not after publicity; He seeks the salvation and transformation of souls. His heart is set on loving and fellowshipping with the children of God. Aware of our wretchedness, He cleanses and restores those of us who are willing to repent and put their trust in Him. Then He gives us the privilege to proclaim His praises.
