“…when he thought about it, he began to weep.” – Mark 14:72

aug 14

Peter was certain he would stand by Jesus no matter what. Even when the others fled, he followed from a distance, thinking himself a step braver. But under pressure, fear overcame him, and he denied the Lord three times. When the rooster crowed, Jesus’ words echoed in his heart, and Peter broke down in tears. That moment marked a turning point in his life.

There may come a time when your confidence in your own strength will crumble—when you see your weakness more clearly than ever before. Such moments can pierce the heart, but they are not the end. They can be the very beginning of transformation. When you realize that your own abilities cannot carry you, you will turn to the One who can. Trust in the Lord’s strength, not your own, and His grace will lift you where your flesh has failed.
