“With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation.” – Isaiah 12:3

When your heart is not aligned with God, true joy is missing. The world offers passing pleasures—moments of laughter, fleeting successes, possessions that quickly lose their shine. Yet they demand more and more: greater achievements, deeper indulgences, costlier pursuits, all to sustain a fragile sense of happiness. But this cycle never satisfies.

God offers something far richer and lasting. Through Christ, we can experience a joy that is not dependent on circumstances but springs from His very life within us. Jesus told the Samaritan woman in John 4:13–14 that the water of this world leaves us thirsty again. But the water He gives becomes a fountain welling up to eternal life. This is the joy Isaiah foretold—the refreshing, unending joy of salvation. Today, draw near to Christ. Drink deeply of His living water and let your heart overflow with the joy only He can give.
