“…Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” – Isaiah 22:13

The people of Judah, blind in their folly, faced destruction but refused to turn to God. Instead of repentance, they chose revelry—“Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” God longed for their hearts to return to Him, yet they persisted in sin, determined to live their own way until death.

Even today, many share this attitude. Aware that life is short, they chase pleasure, thinking this world is all there is. But such thinking ignores a sobering truth—death is not the end. The spirit of man does not perish with the body; it stands before the Creator to give an account. Our time on earth is but a breath compared to eternity. The choices we make now echo forever. You can choose to live for fleeting pleasures or turn to the One who offers eternal life. God will not force you into His presence—but He lovingly calls you to choose life in Him today.
