When you place your faith in Christ Jesus, your heart becomes a dwelling place for God. He becomes intimately involved in your conversations and the events of your life. Furthermore, whether you acknowledge it or not, you are made His ambassador, and your words and actions will reflect either positively or negatively on the God you serve.
As you speak and act, it is vital to ask yourself: Do my words and actions bring glory to the God I serve, or do they bring disrepute? Do they carry God’s seal of approval? As God’s representatives on earth, we must carefully weigh every word and deed. Let your speech and your life offer others a glimpse of Jesus. In doing so, you demonstrate one of the greatest ways to express gratitude for God’s boundless goodness.
