“At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison.” – Colossians 4:3

Paul, despite languishing in prison, directed his urgent prayer request to the believers in Colossae—not for his release, but for God to grant him and his fellow workers greater opportunities to share the message of Christ’s love. His focus remained firmly on his God-given calling rather than on his personal comfort.

Do we allow trials and difficulties to distract us from our life’s purpose? When we become consumed by our overwhelming circumstances, fear and discouragement can take hold of our hearts. However, if we strive to fulfill our God-ordained destiny, relying on His grace and power, we will remain steadfast. Instead of being shaken by adversities, we will persevere, confident that through His grace, we will ultimately triumph and accomplish all that He has called us to do.
