God is Spirit, living in unapproachable light. No sinful man can see God in His glory and live, for God is holy. Yet, He is also a relational God. Even before the creation of the universe, the three persons of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Spirit—coexisted in perfect love, unity, and oneness.
When mankind sinned, they lost the personal presence of God. But at the right time, God sent the Son to make Himself known to mankind in a very personal way. “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known” (John 1:18). Do you feel God is distant and uncaring? Come to Christ and experience His love and power that cleanses your sins and draws you close to your Heavenly Father.
