In today’s world, many children are growing up without consistent discipline. Parents, often distracted by busy lives or influenced by shifting ideas, may neglect correction. The result is visible everywhere: broken homes, indiscipline, addictions, and declining moral standards.
Yet Scripture reminds us that discipline, when given in love, is not harm but protection. To correct a child is to guide them toward wisdom and shield them from choices that could destroy their future. The Bible says, “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.” Discipline is not about venting frustration—it is about shaping character. A loving parent provides structure, boundaries, and correction, knowing these are acts of care. When done prayerfully and consistently, discipline becomes a gift that prepares children to walk in truth and righteousness.
