The difference between three gods and a triune God lies in their nature and relationship. A polytheistic view of three gods presents them as entirely separate and independent entities, differing in nature, character, purpose, and mission. In contrast, the Trinity represents one God existing as three persons who are identical in nature, purity, thought, and character, despite having different roles. Within the Godhead, there is no jealousy, disharmony, or competition; they coexist in perfect love, harmony, and unity.
The person who believes in the Son, receives the Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). This Spirit reveals to that person the heart of the Father (1 Corinthians 2:10). Thus, such a person experiences the blessed fellowship of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (1 John 1:3; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In Christ and through the Spirit, you are drawn into a rich relationship with the God of love.
