Explaining the humanity and divinity of Christ is no easy task for mere humans. Simply stated, He is both 100% God and 100% man. Some of His disciples had a momentary glimpse of this on the Mount of Transfiguration. Yet, on this side of eternity, our minds still struggle to fully comprehend things that lie beyond tangible, physical dimensions.
Though we now see but a poor reflection as in a mirror, when He returns, we will see Him face to face and know Him fully, for we shall be like Him (1 Corinthians 13:12, 1 John 3:2). Yet even now, on this earth, we can enjoy a rich relationship with Christ. As God, He can fully deliver and save us from our sins; as a man, He is a perfect friend and a mediator who empathizes with us. For all of now and eternity, He is all we need.
