“For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be brought to light.” – Mark 4:22

Since the fall of man, humanity has tried to hide its sinful actions and conceal the deceitful motives of the heart. Outwardly, we may appear virtuous, yet inwardly we often indulge in darkness. But Scripture reminds us that nothing stays hidden forever—every secret will one day be brought to light. A day is coming when every soul will give an account before God.

We often sin in secret, thinking no one sees, but the psalmist reminds us there is nowhere we can flee from God’s presence (Psalm 139). God sees all, and in His love, He exposes our hidden ways—not to condemn us, but to call us to repentance. When we walk in the light of God’s Word and confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us through Jesus’ blood. Sin confessed is sin forgiven. But sin concealed will one day be revealed.
