The Apostle Paul had never met the believers in Colossae. He had only heard about their faith and the love they possessed. Although they were not a product of his personal ministry, he sincerely prayed for them because God had placed a genuine concern for them in his heart.
We constantly pray for our needs and those of our loved ones. But when was the last time you prayed for people you have never met or for those who do not benefit you personally? You may not be able to travel the world and meet every child of God, nor can you financially support every needy soul. However, you can sincerely pray for others and their needs, especially that they may experience God’s goodness and faithfulness in their lives.
