When Jesus began His ministry, even His earthly family struggled to understand Him. His radical approach and bold teachings unsettled the religious leaders—and those closest to Him. Yet, Jesus made it clear: true kinship is not based on bloodlines, status, or credentials, but on obedience to God’s will.
God isn’t impressed by titles, wealth, or reputation. What He seeks is surrender—a heart willing to die to self and live according to His purpose. Each day, we are invited to say “yes” to His will, letting go of our own agendas. No matter your past—whether you’re rich or poor, foolish or wise, a saint or a criminal —when you choose to follow Jesus, you become part of a new family. A spiritual family united not by heritage, but by faith and obedience.
