You have a reputation for being lively, yet inside you feel numb and lifeless. You may be the heart of the party or an institution, but your own heart has grown cold as stone. Though you are busy with many things, you live a mechanical life devoid of real meaning or purpose. You are not alone; many others live this way as well.
We are all in need of resuscitation, for on our own we are incapable of enjoying the life that comes from our union with our Creator. We keep slipping away into our selfish desires, which take us farther from God and eventually leave us frustrated and hopeless. Come to Jesus as you are and let Him reignite the light of life within you. Through His love and grace, let Him revive and fill you with joy and purpose, so that you may be truly alive from within.
