The Apostle Paul begins and concludes most of his letters to believers with a salutation of grace. From his personal experience, he testified: “I am what I am by the grace of God.” More than most, he understood what it meant to be transformed—from a murderer and blasphemer to a child of God. In every circumstance, he could stay joyful and encouraged for the Lord’s grace was sufficient for him
You may aspire to embody godly character, and to be consistently filled with love, joy, peace, and faithfulness. Yet, despite your greatest efforts, none of this can be achieved without the grace of God in your life. His grace is sufficient in your weakness, your deepest darkness and your hardest circumstances.
May His grace transform and sustain your life, filling you with hope, joy and purpose, all for the glory to His name. Amen.
