King Hezekiah was a man who sought to honor God, yet he faced a sickness that brought him to the brink of death. When the prophet Isaiah told him his days were numbered, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed earnestly, weeping before the Lord. God heard his cry and extended his life.
God still hears the desperate prayers of His people. Every tear you have shed is known to Him—none are forgotten. You may feel unworthy, broken, or beyond mercy, but the truth is, none of us deserve His grace. Yet His love reaches us still. As Hezekiah later confesses, “Your love has delivered me from the pit of oblivion, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.” (Isaiah 38:17). No matter how hopeless your situation feels, come before Him. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and stands ready to heal you by the power of His unfailing love.
