“Indeed, no one can enter a strong man’s house to steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.’” – Mark 3:27

The religious leaders, jealous of Jesus’ undeniable power, accused Him of casting out demons through partnership with Satan. But Jesus refuted them with a powerful illustration: Satan is like a strong man who holds people captive through deception. Yet Jesus is stronger—He came to bind Satan and set the captives free. He didn’t collaborate with darkness; He came to conquer it.

Whatever chains may bind you—fear, addiction, sin—know this: Jesus has already broken the enemy’s power. You are no longer a slave in the strong man’s house. You are a treasured possession, redeemed by Christ’s blood. Walk boldly in that freedom today. No force of hell can reclaim what Jesus has rescued. Live with purpose, for you now belong to the One who came to save, heal, and restore.
