A person’s faith is established in Christ, when he hears the message of the gospel and chooses to believe it in his heart. For faith comes by hearing the word of God. But this hearing is not just a mere hearing with our physical ears. It is a hearing that rises from a receptive heart.
You can read or listen to God’s word, day after day and year after year, but it will be of little use to you until you open your heart to receive that word. When you come before God, with surrendered hearts, willing to listen to His word, He will give you understanding of the truth of His amazing grace and it will set you free. Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart but yield yourself to His grace, love and guidance.
