Storms have a way of exposing our deepest fears. Whether it’s crashing waves or sudden turbulence mid-air, fear grips us all—atheists and believers alike instinctively cry out. In those terrifying moments, our hearts long for something greater, someone stronger.

Jesus wants to meet us amidst the storms of life that threaten to engulf us. When the darkness surrounds us and the winds roar, He whispers, “Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid.” He’s not here to condemn us but to draw us close. He seeks loyal, broken, and repentant hearts. “A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise” (Psalm 51:17). No matter how fierce the storm or how deep the valley, you are not alone. His presence brings peace. If today your heart is weighed down by fear, listen for His still, small voice. He is near. Take courage—your Savior walks on the waters of your chaos to reach you.
