Jesus shared many parables to reveal the mysterious and powerful ways the Kingdom of God works. In one such parable, He likens it to a man who scatters seed on the ground. The man does his part—he sows the seed—then he rests. Mysteriously, the seed sprouts and grows, though the man doesn’t know how. It eventually produces fruit that blesses others.
This is how God still works today. We are called to share the message of His love, planting seeds of the Gospel in people’s hearts. But the transformation? That’s God’s work. We cannot change hearts on our own. Only God can bring growth, healing, and lasting change. This truth frees us from anxiety. The pressure is not on us to “make it happen.” Our role is faithfulness—to sow, to pray, and to trust. God has promised to bring forth fruit in His time and in His way.
