A single locust appears weak and insignificant. Yet, when they move together, their advance is unstoppable and their impact undeniable. What is striking is that they have no visible ruler guiding them, but they respond to one another and move forward in perfect unity as a formidable force.
In the same way, the Church is called to live under the unseen reign of Christ. Though He is not visible to human eyes now, He rules in the hearts of all who surrender to Him in faith. His Lordship is demonstrated as we walk in love, humility, and mutual submission to one another. Unity is not about one voice dominating, but about each heart tuned to Christ, moving as one body for His glory. When God’s people advance together in obedience and love, they will move forward as a formidable force, not for havoc and destruction but as agents of truth, compassion and healing.
