“The rock badgers are creatures of little power, yet they make their homes in the rocks.” – Proverbs 30:26

Rock badgers are small, weak animals with little defence against predators. Yet they wisely make their homes in the safety of the rocks. They survive not by strength but by choosing a place of refuge where they cannot easily be reached.

We too live in a world filled with dangers and unseen enemies of the soul. Left to ourselves, we are helpless. But like the rock badger, we can find safety by hiding in the Rock that is higher than we are (Psalm 61:2). God Himself is our refuge, the unshakable Rock of salvation. Stop trusting in your own strength, wisdom, or goodness. Instead, run into Christ, your hiding place. In Him you will find grace for every weakness, protection from every attack, and assurance of eternal security. Jesus is more than able to guard and keep you—both now and forever.
