One day, we will all stand before our Creator and give an account of our thoughts, motives, words, and actions. There will be no excuses or hiding on that day, for nothing will be concealed from His gaze, and the secrets of our hearts will be exposed.
If I were to face such a thorough, in-depth scrutiny of my life, conducted by a holy and almighty God, the chances of meeting His righteous standards would be bleak. However, when I choose to place my faith in Jesus Christ and surrender my life to Him, I identify with the death He died for me and am raised to a new life with Him. Now, I no longer have to fear that day, for I am covered with the righteousness of Jesus, not my own. He will present me before the Heavenly Father as a holy, unblemished, and blameless child of God.
