“…Truly I tell you, one of you who is eating with Me will betray Me.” – Mark 14:18

Psalm 41:9, written centuries before Christ, foreshadows Jesus’ anguish: “Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.” The pain of betrayal came not from an enemy but from a chosen disciple—one who had walked with Him, witnessed His love, and shared His table. Jesus endured the piercing sorrow of betrayal, compounded by rejection, mental agony, physical torture, and public humiliation. In a few hours, He faced what many never experience in a lifetime. Yet He bore it willingly, carrying the weight of humanity’s sin to the cross.

Because Jesus suffered, He is the Savior who truly understands our pain—whether it is betrayal, rejection, abuse, or deep emotional wounds. He invites you to bring your hurts to Him. He will meet you with compassion and healing, for He knows what you are going through and He has the power to heal you.
