Early on that resurrection morning, the women set out with spices, eager to honour Jesus with their devotion. Yet, as they walked, a question arose—who would roll away the stone blocking the tomb? They had been so focussed on Jesus that they had not thought of the obstacles ahead. To their astonishment, when they arrived, the stone was already rolled away.
How often do we let the “stones” in our path—fear, doubt, or impossibilities—keep us from offering our devotion to God? We worry about barriers before we even begin. But just as the stone was removed, God is able to clear every hindrance when we step out in faith. The key is to move forward with a heart of love and obedience, trusting Him with the outcome. When we walk by faith, God works in ways we could never imagine. Commit yourself to serve Him wholeheartedly, and you will see Him roll away every stone in your path.
